Picture from the Grand Tour to Essen 16-25 April 2010

On
Friday-Sunday 16-25 April 2010 class IP3 at Presterudsgymnasiet
and class TE3 at Brogårdsgymnasiet in Kristinehamn will make a journey to the school Berufskolleg West in Essen in Germany. The tens days journey is a part of
a two year Comenius bilateral language partnership
between the schools, which run from August 2008 to July 2010. The Swedish
part of the project is EU-financed by 22 000 €. During the visit the
students will visit the school and lessons, work with the joint energy
project, visit a coal mine and coal plant. On Wednesday 21/4 we
also will visit Brussels
and the EU-Commission and the EU-Parliament. We do our grand-tour to Germany and Belgium by
bus and on the trip to Essen we will visit the concentration camp Bergen
Belsen, and on the way back to Sweden we
will visit the old Lübeck. Essen is the Capital of
Culture in Europe 2010.

- During the bus tour back to
Sweden we stay for three hours in Lübeck and
visit Petri and St. Marien church, Tomas Manns Buddenbrook and
Willy Brandt hous. We
arrived to Kristinehamn at 05.00 in the morning. Click!
