Wind and sun

Introduction

This project is about to design and build three different horizontal wind turbines and one sun oven. The design is made by students at Brogårdsgymnasiet and at Berufskolleg West. The structures will then be built by students of Presterudsgymnasiet and Berufskolleg West. The design from Kristinehamn will be built in Essen and the design in Essen will be built in Kristinehamn. Just because the students have to use English.

Group 1 and 2 – Sun oven with glass lids, black inner, flat reflectors (aluminium) and the inner height = 15 cm. Inner Dimensions: 30 x 30 cm and 20 x 20 cm. Group 3 and 4 - Wind turbine with horizontal axis and adjustable flat blades. 4 and 5 leaves. Radius = 30 cm. Drawings: assembly, blades, hub, wing1, wing2


Group 5 and 6: Wind turbine with horizontal shaft with 3 and 5 respectively, flat blades. Radius = 10 cm height = 60 cm and radius = 15 cm, height = 40 cm. Drawing

Group 9 and 10: Wind turbine with horizontal shaft with 2 or 3 twisted blades. Radius = 30 cm. Drawings: assembly, hub, blade
